Adtran

The Challenge: Create a unique form factor to launch Adtran’s first Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones.

The Approach:

• Brainstorm pie-in-the-sky, outside of the box form factors with no internal component restrictions
• Work with engineering to minimize the footprint of the component layout
• Create two launch color platforms represented in two full scale beauty models
• Assist with manufacturing reviews of the tooled plastic parts

The Result: A unique upright phone design that is attractive and intriguing with a minimal footprint.
